So Aussies inflicted a 5-0 loss on Pakistan and has caused even more trouble in their camp. There were reports of fights between MoYo with Inti and then the Boomer captained the side to have a brain freeze and then get caught tampering the ball.

Imagine a captain doing it. Few days back the same gentleman was taking a moral high on the loss of Indian people to watch players like him in the Indian domestic t20 league.

What was he thinking ? People watching it on TV and laughing out loud over the desparate attempt to win a match by illegal tactics.

Pakistan would now like to cry cheating again and war like protests back home on banning Afridi by an Sri Lankan match referee albeit in Australia. National pride hurt ? Yup indeed, with the captain of a side caught cheating on camera and banned for 2 games.

Thats called brain freeze. Actually now I doubt if he even has brains ? Pathans have little bit of that, but then this Pathan does not have any. The moral high he took few days back has now turned to a comic act, actually illegal act of ball tampering. Well thats how their fast bowlers have got most of their wickets all this years from the legendary Imran Khan to Sarfaraz Nawaz, the original brain freeze guy, Waqar and now Afridi. Not to forget those lesser bowlers Zahids, Akrams(not Wasim), Asifs, Akhtars and sundryuddins.

Question arises why is this team like this ? Why cant the players see eye to eye ? Unfortunately they are losing the plot and time withstanding they would lie in the bottom of rankings soon.  The drama has begun already, chief selector is gone. Butt is saying he wants young skipper, Yosuf is fighting with Alam, Younis is laughing silently, Afridi is tampering the ball, Kamran Akamal is babysitting while dropping the catches and nobody is batting, bowling or fielding cos they cant..,,

What a team. Imagine the outrage they would now face. 2007 World Cup would be a distant memory now. Even 2003 overhaul would fade now before the new look (or ugly) the side is going to get. They cant play Test matches, now they cant even play ODIs, they aint part of T20 leagues anyway, so what are they going to do now ?

Fight with each other, rest their brains in freezer and plot the downfall of each other. Thats what they are planning while Australia almost completed their transition and now stand strong chance after India (Chivalrous me) to win 2011 WC. While Australia played cricket, Pakistan played politics within the team and the biggest victim of this would be MoYo. May be end of career for him, but before that throw out Afridi and elements like him in cold.

Its been 14 years he made his debut and with him missing first series due to an injury suddenly we feel that Test cricket is not complete, the slot he comes in at for last 14 years is no more typical Wallesque.

Its an indication of time to come. He is still a vital cog of the team even 3 yrs after giving up captaincy, he is still the man to lift the team out of the trouble. 

Though in last 2 years or so, he has started coming late to bat thanks to the awesome Delhi opening pair we have, but his contributions are never less than more celebrated team mates of his.

11400 runs, 29 hundreds and 139 Tests is not enough for Rahul Dravid to stop or miss a series. He is still wanted and would be keenly awaited to make a comeback soon.

And thus lost Pakistan 0-4. One match away from a whitewash.

With this scoreline they aint worthy anymore to stake claim for IPL slots. Besides PCB has now revoked NoCs thus making them ineligible to play. 

Much ado about nothing. 

Even Bangladesh managed to win in West Indies, this Pakistan team has not won a single game on the tour.  What awaits them when they return back is every one 's guess -- change in captaincy, match fixing allegations, Dasti shouts on Butt, former players shouts and further mess.

4/39 indicates that they cannot bowl, they cannot field and they cannot bat. They drop catches, they leak runs and they get out cheap.  And to a debutant called Harris. The team which has MoYo, YoYo, Afridi Boomer, Butt, Bugsy Akamal, Backfake Akamal and Fawad ke Dil ka Alam in addition to Khurram Khan (is he ?) has dipped to low standards on the field.

Many of this players have 5000+ runs in ODIs and are wanting to play in IPL. So on basis of performance do they qualify to be bid for an IPL slot. And the spinach guy is not even playing. 4/39 is hilarious score and even Bangladesh or Afghanistan would score better than this lads.

South Africa are in a coach and board mess. India are in fitness worries.

The 2nd best batsman of the team is injured and the 3rd best  batsman is back in the team after 10 stiches.

Karthik is out but to balance the state equations other one is in. Dabri. He stands a real chance to replace Dravid / Yuvraj in XI....Bet he wont score more than 50 runs combined in the test or even less.

So one easy wicket for Saffers at least.

Mithun gets a look in and thats a reward for hard work and a spectacular debut. He has had an awesome first class debut and though Test debut seems unlikely, he should be good enough to put the likes of Ishant and Sreesanth on toes.

Wriddhiman Saha is other surprise selection and he should debut should Dhoni get unfit again (will he be unfit for IPL?). And a good riddance of DKNY, Dancing baby, DK, Chennai Duck. At least he was looked through.

Replacements for Dravid, Lacchu and Yuvraj ?

On 28th Jan when team for first Saffa test would be decided, the selectors would be in little trouble chosing the Test team and this would be  cos 3 of the 6 frontline batters are injured on this tour.

Dravid, Laxman and Yuvraj who form the backbone of the Test batting are out injured and do not know if they would recover in time for the first test.

Now the question arises who would come in for the 3.

Murali Vijay would be at 3.  What about other 2 ? Chance to  groom the replacements? Who ? Raina ?Sharma ?

Wont it be a chance to test the bench strength?  Interesting situation. Long time, perhaps first time in 14 years that India would be without Laxman, Dravid and of course retired Saurav.  Ok, that was in England 1996 when Dravid and Ganguly were yet to debut and then later on in the year Laxman debuted in Srinath's Ahmedabad test (6-21, first victory over SA)

This is Saffa's 4th tour of 2000s and 5th in all for Tests and the record doesnt look very good. 2 series losses, a win and a draw. That is, out of 10 tests won 4, lost 4 and draw 2/\.

We are yet to see Indian Test team without the 4 batting legends (Fab Four).  This would be an indication of times to dawn perhaps in couple of years when the big 3 would depart and then the replacements would be on.

Next few days would be indication to the future of Indian test cricket should the big 2 not recover from their injuries.

Mishra gets dropped

Sounds weird, Mishra took 5 or 6 wkts in the game including 4 last 2nd innings wkts and today he does not find a place in the team. Pragyan Ojha comes to play for him. Looks weird.

Was Mishra in as Sehwag was the captain and now that MS returns, the Ojha guy is in and Mishra is out ? Choice of preferences ?

Murali is playing for India now in place of Lacchu pehelwan and this time he would play at 6 hopefully or one of the openers would shift. Seems unlikely.

Actually none of the 3 spinners combined post Anil era look as strong as the man himself was when he played.  Neither in skill and neither in toughness.

Yousuf sacked mid series

If all the IPL drama was not enough, then Mr Butt Sahib declares publicly that Yusuf Khan is going to be sacked after the Aus ODI series.

Oops Mohd Yusuf.  And he is still playing.

Publicly a board chairman declares that this captain is not good enough to lead the side in any form of the game. So who comes in ? Younis back again ?

Snub show must go on

And latest in the drama now is that Butt saheb would complain the IPL snub to ICC in Feb10 personally and prepare to get another snub.

But before that he would prepare to get one more snub from Jamshed Dasti, the swayambhu guardian of Pakistan cricket, who not so long ago had claimed match fixing in the semi final loss to NZ in CT and had seen the hand of India in it.

Poor Butt, he is trying to soothe his players, but deep within he knows he is alienating BCCI. When the things wud be normal and IPL snub would be forgotten, he would get another royal snub from BCCI when he would come with a beggar's bowl to have a series between the 2 teams so that his board gets some money and then that money could go to LeT or ISI for another attack planning on a visiting team in Pakistan.

So you see the dynamics of the snub. Pakistan are getting them aplenty.  All for their own doing.  This soap opera is too intriguing. Show must go on, in terms of Mr Raj Kapoor.

Move ON

No Englishman was chosen in IPL, yet snooty English media and countrymen are silent and ignorant over the IPL snub.

None from BD and except Thissara Parera SL was chosen, none from WI was chosen and none from mainstream Australia and NZ was chosen in the IPL, yet we dont hear any of this boards or players crying foul like the Butts, Afridis, Dastis, Zakahranis and Abbasses are doing.

Neither of this countries' pride is hurt and neither of the players have said anything weird as Shahid Afridi, who is a master disguise (is technically 30 but looks  34) or even Sohel Tanveer, who is not even part of the team.

One simple word for the suggested reaction to this people : MOVE ON.  Get on with your lives and try winning at least one game on the tour down under. At least one.

Can Pakistanis show some fight tomorrow in the ODI series against Aus ?

Will Afridi leave behind the anger of IPL snub and get going in the ODIs ? Although he is a man without brains, he would pretend to have it for few moments before he would lose it again to get out in idiotic way.

India win its 3rd consecutive Test

Ishant is truly back and firm in Test attack.

Sreesanth is on his way out. What a loss. He is not wanting to improve.  Time for antics in IPL for him. Give a glare or two to Sangakara.

Mishra is good, but he is no replacement of Anil Kumble. His 5-for in Mohali seems an one - off event and since then he has struggled.

301 is a flattering score. Thanks to bat swinging,  M Rahim got a 100.  Otherwise Sehwag's statement on their test status and quality remains same.  They are poor Test side and their batsmen know just one way to play Tests -- self destruct.  Having said that, they can on this day beat Pakistan's strongest side in Test cricket 2-1 or 3-0 in Test series.  Bet a Butt on it ?

With this win India are now undefeated for 13 Tests.  Shakib would like to have a look at this record and might want to take back his words that Aus and SA are better sides than India.  That's a weak statement, actually a retaliatory one for Sehwag's comments. To prove him wrong BD batsmen self destructed.  They played poor shots. Pak's IPL Snub : Politics

Pakistan cricketers and PCB bosses are not helping themselves by issuing some  temparamental and nasty comments over IPL snub.

India or BCCI did not ban Pak players from IPL-2 last year, it was their own government which banned them from playing in a cheap act of retaliation (cancellation of Test tour by Indian govt).

PCB wants ties to resume asap to arrest its financial loss. Pak players want India to support them to ensure cricket returns to their land.

Unfortunately this is a complex situation. Pakistan are a volatile nation and perceived to be the disturbers of the peace and harmony in the world. 11/26 has not been forgotten and that will play a key role in deciding the matters on cricket for a long time to come, like it or not.

This matter, the politics would continue to dictate the terms on sports and thats not bad either.  So for now Pak players and PCB need to wait and prolly not watch. India has turned their back on the troubled volatile global sponsors of terror neigbhours.

Pakistan hurts itself after snubbed in IPL

Shahid Afridi feels IPL has hurt his country and his team by ignoring him and other players. Actually he is hurt and he is trying to paint it green by saying huge words like hurting his country and all.

Who would risk a Pakistani player this point of time who lack team spirits, basic skills and are prone to brain freezes. That was evident in the last 8 tests they have played.

Besides their government is not too enthusiastic to send them across the border to play. Actually the relations between the Indian and Pakistan countries is not too good after 11/26, so Pakistani cricketers are looked upon with suspicion and are not very welcome here.

Besides there is no guarantee that the Pak players would be available for entire tournament. Shilpa Shetty, the irritable and yawning owner (co) of RR sums it up.

Besides IPL has its own commerce. So nobody would bet on a losing side. The snub seems fair to this blogger and this blogger feels that lest Pakistani players work on their attitude and team spirits, they would be continued to be ignored.

And Afridi is not doing any good by issuing temparamental statements like this.  Not to forget his verbal spat with VVS and then a MB with Gautam Gambhir. The tempers might get flared in the stadiums should Afridi and his men do another kind of such behavior.

India vs BD, T1D3

Mahamadullah something something loves Indian bowling attack.

50s in the league games of tri series followed by 69 in the first innings and then a brain freeze which ensured BD squandered a chance to take a lead.

Viru and Gambhir put on another decent partnership to give 2nd innings a solid start. Actually Sehwag lived upto his reputation of not going bonkers againsst weak teams. His top score against BD is 52 and 45 in this game.

Mishra then showed some heroics with Gambhir to ensure India lost no more wkts.

Tomorrow, if India would make 300 odd runs  tomorrow weather permitting, the game is set shut and over. BD is far too weak to chase anything over 340.

And Indian batsmen would not repeat the first innings mistake of a collapse.

Kaif goes Punjabi from Rajasthani

Rajasthan Royals left out Kaif and Kings Punjab brought it. And the original youths of Indian new age cricket team now unite once again in IPL.

Yuvraj Singh and Mohd Kaif would now play for KXIP. But if they both would play would depend on a pig who would litter his shit all around KXIP dressing room. And all we would hear in the songs of Sangakara's choice rather than the Bhangra mixes.

I wonder if Sangakara was present in the auction.

Good for Kaif though, he should use this opportunity for trying to make a comeback in the team. Some good fielders in the team is the need of the hour in limited formats.

DK misses again

India no ordinary

India put up a very ordinary performance on day 1 against minnows BD on Test 1, that makes Sehwag look an idiot. When he said BD has an ordinary attack, he was right. The wickets fell more due to lose shots than from good bowling.

Thanks to the great man, the hope still prevails. But BD are still the team that self destructs more than anybody else. So India would win this game very comfortably.

Chennai Duck

He is a default replacement for every injured player. He is a wicket keeper. He is stylish, he fakes and he nudges. He pokes and then gets out. And then living up to his style playing to the gallery he nods his head as if he was going to make great runs and has got out.

He is no less than a Chennai Duck. Actually he is a Chennai Duck.  Bombay Duck rejuvenated himself and he was/is better than his nick name, but Chennai Duck is actually even worse than  a Duck. He cannot keep, he cannot bat and he cannot run.

Why is he in the team then? Just cos Krish is the chief selector of the national team. Period. Besides no showing on his CV for his runs. Yeah one thing is, absolute idiotic captaincy that cost TN a game against Himachal.

Its pathetic that due to this loser, the other wicket keepers are not given a fair chance. Not that other wicket keepers stand a chance, now that a wicketkeeper is the captain for long term, but yet a better wicket keeper to keep MS on toes should be found. Dinesh Karthik is a man beyond focus now.  He should retire and look for dancing shows on reality TV or even settle down in politics with the likes of Ammas and Karunas.

Yusuf nears the end of his career

Yusuf must be deplored when he was ran out in the final Test on day 3 to seal a 0-3 win.  He publicly bashed Butt with some very unkind remarks.  Not good for the morale of the batsman who is yet on the crease playing.

What this means is the 2 best batsmen of Pak are now back in the hut and chance of follow-on seem largely likely.

I am not sure if I have seen the comments by any other captain in public besides Yusuf and Sangakara (over jaya).

And we bash MSD for being unfair over his bowlers. Since when MS singled out a bowler criticising him ?

Tough times await Yusuf. Most prolly end of a career.

Yuvraj no more Punjabi badshah. A pig would pretend to be a Punju king.

With Sangakara taking over reigns of KXIP in IPL-3, the team should kiss goodbye to any chance of winning or reaching the semis.

Unfortunate decision and a very wrong choice to pick Sangakara the captain of a desi side. Not everybody is a Warne of Gilchrist. Sangakara can never be in his current and next life.

KXIP is now led by a pig. What a shame.

And KXIP have been decent performers in 2 seasons and Yuvraj is their best batsman.  if there was no rule of 4 max foreign players in a IPL team, the team of Punjabis would have been overcrowded by Sangakara's croons.  You never know cheat Angelo Matthews could be bid by KXIP.

Kudos Mumbai

Mumbai win their 39th title by keeping nerves in a fantastic final. Though Karnataka played too well, both teams deserve kudos for an enthralling finale.

And why not have Ajit Agarkar back in the team.

Pakistan cricket runs into mess

Pakistan cricket is back in the news for bad reasons. I missed out posting during the madness of Akamal brothers who felt that playing and resting in Pakistan cricket team is just like their gully cricket team.  The behavior shown by bugsy Kamran was cheap and ridiculous to say the least.  Just shows how mafia has gripped the Pakistan cricket.

And this is aided by a lose captain. Selfish and T20 fantic. 

Hobart test did not alter their fortunes. They dropped sitters, hugged with malice in the heart.

Umar Akmal must know that his behavior would have good enough to throw him out of the international cricket should there be Imran / Wasim around.

And if the player feuds are not enough, the likes of Jamshed Dasti and Ijaz Butt are ruining the cricket even further. Mr 10% cannot be hoped to rescue Pakistan cricket from growing Talibans within the team itself.

What happens when Pak returns home would be anyone's guess. Match fixing.  Lol.

If you wanna have laugh first thing in morning have a look at sangakara. Explotive laughter bursts would follow. Be it while getting out or sledging or asking his players to abandon game sanga remains pig faced captain . He says we have been putting pressure on. Indian bowling in 3 months . 2 90s, a hundred , a 6 and antics in the ongoing Aussie summer in addition to 3 ODI hundreds this summer is ensuring that Shane Kid Watson enters the big fire ring of Indian advertising riding on huge cash deals.  Not to mention the upgraded Rajasthan Royals IPL contract for the lanky kiddo Australian allrounder.

He joins the elite company of Bret Lee to get mouth watering deals in Indian consumer market.

3 Idiots and Sri Lanka

Today Sri Lanka would beat Bangladesh and Sangakara would sing "All izzz well".
