There's a difference between judging a cricketer on his personal characteristics and his cricketing skills...
He is selfish, greedy, back biter, back stabber and all that...
BUT he is the best batsman ever produced by Pakistan.. and one of the best in the world.
Its as simple as that.

Q, if you term Yusuf best batsman Pakistan produced going by his stats or 24 100s (or 1 more, less) in 81 odd Tests, then my friend u r reducing the likes of Younis Khan and Inzamam to mere mortals who were greater team men than this selfish man.
what abt Zaheer Abbas -- once upon a time Asian Bradman?
Do you feel Yusuf has contributed more to Pak cricket in batting than what Inzy has ?
Can you count me few wins Yusuf had for Pakistan besides boosting his average and personal stats? And then cud u comapre that with Inzy ?

There is no doubt that Inzi was a bigger match winner..
For me he remains the best batsman for Pakistan ever.
What I said was that Yousuf is in the team because he is the best batsman in Pakistan right now.. being selfish, greedy, etc etc does not deny that fact.
I read ur new post Sam and I never said I don't agree with those things.
We all know he is selfish.
I am not arguing against that.
All what I am saying is that besides being selfish, he is one of the best batsmen around.

Q, i would say Younis Khan is the best batsman Pak has got now. Are bhai i m not honour wonor man. m just an ordinary blogger !!
