Earlier I had argued for giving Rohit Sharma a long run of 25 ODI's at 3 or 4 before passing the verdict.
He seems to be making the same mistakes he did in T20. Trying to get too far ahead of himself. Be it hooking or flashing outside off. Sometheing seriously worrying about the attidute and just not the right signs for someone touted to be the next Dravid or VVS.
As for DK, I would not be as harsh. The guy gets a break after ages, walks in with GG and watches two wickets fall. He stays with Yuvraj and does adequately. One failure does not undo his good work in the earlier game. Certainly a versatile cricketer and needs to be in the mix. Indian domestic cricket is not exactly overflowing with Gilchrists and Sangakkaras so that you can dump DK without a second thought.
If you think DK was faking body language, what about Harbhajan after taking Ramdin's catch. He was in effect telling whoever cared to watch that it was his idea to bowl Nehra. One would think his main job was to bowl and do better that 10-0-56-1 when provided with 340 to defend.
For me, its Powar, Ojha and Mishra in that order any day instead of this guy.
